COMPETE AT A DEKA FIT EVENT:
Competing at a DEKA FIT is a life-changing experience!
DEKA is an indoor fitness competition featuring 10 functional fitness zones – it’s fitness gamified and designed for all levels.
No matter your background or experience, DEKA will help you set your baseline and train with a purpose. All DEKA FIT includes a 500-meter run before each zone, 5K total.
Earn your DEKA Mark and commemorate your achievement with your finisher medal and t-shirt.
VOLUNTEER AND REFEREE
Become an active part of the DEKA family:
Volunteers are essential to the success of any DEKA event.
Assist with race day operations:
- DEKA Arena setup and build
- On the course-motivating competitors.
- In the festival area- assisting with competitor registration.
- At the finish line- passing out medals and t-shirts.
- Referee- in zones on course (in the middle of the action!)
Volunteer perks:
All shifts receive:
1 Free race*, Tech-tee, snacks, & water
Race Day shifts also receive:
Referee shirt for Referee shifts
Full day-,12-hour shifts also receive:
$60 merchandise credit for post-event use and Hoodie
Load in/Load out shifts also receive:
$50 merchandise credit for post-event use
*Free Race Credit is valid 1 yr for a US Open DEKA FIT, Sprint 5K, Super 10K, Beast 21K, City or Stadion 5K, Kids, and 10k / 21k / 50k Trail events. Volunteer heats only. DEKA FIT Road Shows, DEKA STRONG, & DEKA MILE events are not applicable.
